300CE - 24 is simply the European name for the 124 coupe with the 4 valves per cylinder 104 motor. In the U.S. it was just called the 300CE. As mentioned it started in the U.S. in 1990. In Europe it often had, or perhaps always had, a 5 speed transmission, in the U.S. it was a 4 speed.
