No, you don't want to do that.

The "early" 722.400 had 3 lined clutches..MB # 201-272-00-25 & later versions used 4!

There are 2 different sized metal clutches 2.5mm or 3.0mm & also 3 different sized compensation washers. That is the way to make the clutch adjustment come out correctly. SELECT fit is the definition.
