I can’t think of a tire that I’ve ever owned that didn’t have a max of either 65psi or 85psi on it, and with some max load rating well above 1/4th my vehicle weight. Some, over half.
I guess it’s good to know if I were ever to put them on some sort of utility trailer. But I’m not into putting Michelins on a utility trailer that would wind up being drug through the Mesquites around here.

Yup. I buy used tires at a particularly good bone yard around here for my trucks. I often find tires with 70 to 80% of their life left for $20 and I know a little tire place that charges $15 for mount and balance. Not only economical, sort of a recycling thing as well.
Now and then I'll find a really nice tire and then see written on the side: "For trailer use only." Must not require as high a grade of tire.
