I have a new 300 SEL and the lights in the CCU are all out. My question for you gentlemen, should you wish to reply, is how do I open/remove/access the panel? I am guessing it has something with removing the radio, but that is an aftermarket Alpine and I haven't figured that out yet either. Once I can see inside there, I am capable of changing bulbs, I assure you. Really.

The electric seat switches mounted in the door - are they illuminated? Mine aren't, but before I dismantle the doors I thought I'd better see if there is a reason to do same.

One day, when I can find one, I'll own a service manual and maybe will cease (well, no, not cease, but maybe come up with more interesting ones) with inane questions.
