My soon to be 16 year old daughter is a total girlie gearhead. When she was three or four she would 'help' me work on the '57 Chevy. She got to the point where she WAS helping. She did a good job assisting on a disk brake conversion we did. Now that she is older she is the one who helps tune the old cars She LOVES the Jeep and likes to get greasy. I guess I did have some influence on her as she looks like my ex-wife. When she is not covered in grease or diesel fuel, she can be seen getting all prettied up. I have had to have the " I have not problem going BACK to prison" talk with a couple boys already

I like the fact that when she can drive legally she will know how to change a tire, get or give a jumpstart, and wrap a torn radiator hose with duct tape and keep going. She and I are going to drop a new aluminum body on the old CJ and take her out into the woods next year.

My son, on the other hand is turning 18 and all I can say is thank God for AAA!
