Hey man that part comes out pretty easy. It has a couple of "ears" that pierce the trunk carpet holding it in place, Start a small flat blade pocket screwdriver under it from the inside and work your way down and back (side to side, corner to corner) a little at a time so as not to break the ears. When you reinstall, hook the outer lip in first and push/ pull the piece back in placeuntil it pops in. You can always go to the junkyard for practice first.
