Hey guys, I've got a 1987 w124 body 300 diesel that was recently the victim of some vandalism. The driver's side window was smashed in and I'm looking into replacing it myself. I know a guy who has a number of old merc hulks and I was wondering how close the year/model needs to be to mine for the window glass to be compatible. Will any W124 chassis car do? Does it need to be a 300 series? Would glass from an earlyer W123 suffice? What are my options?
