If you mean the chrome strip molding along the doors and fenders I suggest making sure you have straight chrome and then buying the newer type of plastic "plugs" that hold the molding on.
Original oem is the red ones. There are white ones that are sold on line somewhere that are a bit thicker and heavier that will hold on tight as long as the strips are not bent.........
