Seeing as how I spend an awful lot of time pounding on a keyboard (here and reports, etc at work) I can safely say it isn't the keyboard or computer. The problem lies in your digital mastery of the keyboard, when you are trying to type fast, your brain is a step or two ahead of your fingers (both of them

or all of them if you took a typing class

). The cure is simple - slow down a tad.
I learned to type on an ancient Government manual typewriter, two fingers and a thumb. You'd be surprised at how fast one can type that way.
