It seems pretty clear that any vacuum system will need the DLS-V relays.
But, am I "alarm-safe" installing Contanza's system in a '91 126 with the vacuum system that unlocks all doors from the trunk?

YES, as long as the unit is unocking the sytem, be it the the trunk or the doors, the alarm will disarm. I had a system on another MB and did it on the trunk ( a W124 300CE) it worked fine.
