I had a set of Shure 3-series in-ear earbuds and didn't like them at all. They were very uncomfortable, despite the dozen or so different ear fit pieces you get with them. The sound was fine, but nothing that made me say "wow, I'm glad I just spent $200 on these headphones". I returned them and still have the ear buds that came with the iPod.
