this happened to me over the summer.... when the weather got cooler...the light never came on again.

i replaced the sensor a couple of weeks ago.....

this was on the 260e.... i do believe the sensor had been replaced before with an OE type... I am basing this on the fact that it unscrewed easily from the cat... it had anti seize on it..

I do not know how old it was... i have limited service records from the previous owner.... the old one appeared to have carbon on it..but did not look too bad.

i spliced in a 3 wire replacement that i had picked up for about 30 dollars....
