Turbobenz - Mine's pretty well maintained too, a recent valve adjustment seemed to improve the idle, but acceleration has always been pretty strong and smooth. The only thing that seems to slow it down are dirty injectors - which some Diesel Kleen and Chevron takes care of.

Let me guess, you've adjusted the ALDA.

I've been trying to come up with an explaination as to how we can achieve faster than spec times, and the ALDA probably has the most effect, with the Bowden cable and smog equipment removal contributing relatively less. I'm sure even the skeptics agree that some improvement is possible, but the amount of improvement is what's in doubt.
