It resides in the engine compartment right above the steering column, on top of the master cylinder which is bolted to the firewall. It is a transclucent white plastic resorvour about the size of a large muffin with a black plastic screw on cap.
Remove the cap and look inside. If the fluid is lower than the line embossed on the outside, fill with the type of brake fluid recommended in the owners manual.
If this does not make you sure of what to do I suggest you find a more experienced friend to show you the ropes before you go too far.
