There are tons of posts about how reliable the 61X series engines are and lots of posts about what to look out for on the 603 series engines, but hardly anybody talks about the 602 series.
What is the story on the 602 engines especially the turbo version? I have a line on a 1987 300D 2.5T and I have no idea on how these cars and the engine stacks up to a 617 powered 300SD or a 603 powered 300SDL. Do they have overheating issues? lubrication problems? anything?
Are the W124's as good as the W126's? (I know I've opened up a can of worms here!)
