I'm jealous.
Alta is my favorite, but I like Brighton as well. Some people do not like Brighton because there are so many snowboarders there. It has some of the best views (all the way to Park City) and my favorite run.
There is a cool train ride from Heber, that goes down through Provo canyon, you may want to check that out. It's slow, and can be a little bumpy, but it's still very nice. Takes a couple of hours.
