found the torque specs, about 70 foot inches for the allen style bolts on the transmission modulator. I have decided not to spray brake cleaner into the vacuum line due to concerns of it going into the engine intake. the rubber looked alright, so I am going to leave that be.....hopefully the tranny will work. a well known indy shop changed the fluid and modulator valve. they overfilled the transmission (about 3 inches ABOVE the top mark) and installed a used modulator. took the car back (drove it for three months before I discovered the overfill) and asked them to please drain the transmission fluid. got the car back and it is STILL 3 inches ABOVE the top mark....this is why I have taken to working on the car myself.......I can screw it up for half the money.....
