i am having problems with the transmission of my 82 300sd. it has problems getting into forth gear. a few weeks ago it wouldn't go into forth until warmed up. now it is taking longer.....
i pulled the vacuum line from the tranny and it reads 16, it falls to 6 when i pull the accelerator
the fluid is ok and it and the filter was changed out recently

i have had the car about 2 years, i got it from the original owner
it has just passed 100,000 miles


any words of wisdom on how to get the car back on the road would be appreciated
