Well it did not work. Maybe we should have heated the boots in boiling water or something. We tried and tried in till the trans funnel gave way.
Pierre had a parts car with a couple axles with good boots, so now my 1980 300SD is back on the road, I am so happy now, she was down for 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks I drove the 1970 220D it is nice but nothing like the 300SD.
