I don't care what color my primary filter is. That's just carbon black that comes out of the engine in gthe exhaust anytime Diesel fuel is burned. It doesn't hurt anything to put a little back in by using used engine oil.

I burn used engine oil all the time. It lubricates the IP now that the sulphur content of the fuel is so low.
