You gotta try one.  I build/modify my own though. That guy has made a fortune on modifying DPSS laser pointers. Since DPSS lasers are so efficient they can be cranked up to extreme amounts of power for their size. They are super fun outside in the dark. The beam looks like it goes all the way to the stars. Just don't hit anyone in the eye!
