Found drain tubes

I was under the car today assessing the condition of the flex discs. While looking at the front disc I noticed four drain tubes - two on each side of the transmission.

They have a kind of one way valve at the ends that are designed to let water out, while not allowing anything in. I squeezed the rubber tube in such a way to open the valve and found that the bottom two inches of the drain tubes were clogged with years of accumulations of gunk.

I am not sure what area of the body these drains are for. I think at least one on each side probably drains the windsheild wiper well. Does anybody know precisely which areas these four tubes drain? If I knew where the drain inlets were I could rod the rest of the tubes lengths. I would bet that there is more gunk in the drains somewhere between the inlets and the outlets.

Sometimes I get a little water on the passenger side floor and if these drains are plugged I will have found the cause.

Thanks,
Doug
