This is for my 84 280e dedicated autocrosser. We are building up a limited slip for it using the carrier from a 190 16v.

That blurb above seems to indicate it is for all mb diffs. The tag on mine says use only special diff fluid (or words to that effect in german). Are you saying that mb specifies limited slip appropriate lube for all their diffs?
