Scenario 1:

Two 16 yr old boys try our for the HS football team. Upon finding out they made the team, they congratulate teach other by shaking hands.
Show of affection? No way.

Scenario 2:

Two 16 yr old girls try out for the cheerleading team. Upon finding out they made the team, do they shake each other's hands? Of course not. They would do like most teen age girls do, maybe give each other a little "hug" of some sort.
Show of affection? Gimme a break.

As the father of two former, (thankfully) teenage girls, I'd have gone ballistic if this happened to one of them.

Stupid rules written by stupid people with way too much time on their hands. Do what you're paid to do... educate.; !!
