OK, the guy I'm buying the 87 300TD block from,says He has a transmission that may fit my 1990 350SDL.

This guy claims the PO ran into the back of a dump truck and the transmission only had 1 week of service on a complete rebuild.

My question is, will it fit into my 350SDL? No, I do not have any #'s yet, I will have the #'s tomorrow,(2.12.08) But I thought that someone in this forum may already know this.
