Question W123 Under-dash check valves

I'm replacing the two - one is for the central locking system behind the cluster, and the other is for the center vent.

Does anyone have a picture as to which way they should go? Mine have been messed with before, giving them a 50% chance of being right :-)

I understand what they do as a device, but I don't understand their placement in either system, could someone shed some light on it? (Especially in the ACC system)

Thanks!
dd
