I have a '85 300D and my trunk won't open. I thought the reason it won't open was because the factory alarm is going off, but I was told that the alarm shouldn't be able to lock the trunk closed.http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=213245

So I am able to open it with the emergency trunk release, but it won't open on its own. Does anyone know why? or how to fix it? Is it a broken latch?
