the elusive Al129X is on the SAAB's that have the transverse mounted engine... if you are pulling the alternator off the top of the engine by the firewall on the drivers side you are only going to get a 90A one.

the 129X you have to get it from the passenger side wheel well.. and they are all a serp belt that i saw. the pulleys are easily changed, just make sure you have the woodruff key.

to remove the pulley you can use a puller... OR if you do not have a puller... loosen the bolt a bit, hold the alt up and hit the end of the shaft/bolt and it will slide out. be careful not to damage threads. put it on in reverse and hit it with the impact wrench once or twice.
