If it was me would ask my Wife during this testing period to let me start the car when ever possible. I do not know what my Wife is thinking of when she starts a car; but she cannot accurately tell me what happened or even what she did if the car did not start.
Until you find out what is wrong it is best that you be the one who starts the car.

When I first got my Mercedes I parked and left it in Drive. When I came back it would not start (it was also night and cold ). After a trying time to find a pay phone that worked I called AAA. The tow truck came and I went to make sure it was in neutral and realized that I had left it in Drive and that that is why the car did not start. I was to embarrassed to tell the tow truck driver that I had screwed up. When I got home I put it in park and it started fine.
