FWIW, if you decide to have a shop do the work I highly recommend Jim's Custom Exhaust on Rt2 just North of the rt138 intersection in West Kingston. They can do stock or custom work and are usually reasonable. They replaced the rear muffler in my 300D to get it to pass inspection. Not MB parts, a straight through Magnaflow, painted black with turndown tip. I've been to the ER twice with rust/metal chunks in my eyes. I don't do exhaust anymore. RT
