Hi, I've got a 2000 e320 Wagon 4matic that has exactly the same problem, I've had it into the dealer and a bosch shop and both are stumped. The dealer says they think it might be the torque converter, but they aren't sure and wouldn't cover the cost if they replace it and are wrong.

I'm curious if you found out anything more on the problem?
