Well, as the one that asked, I have to say thanks, nice write up and extra pictures.

I was envisioning something similiar myself and wondering about the fit in that area. But I rarely drive the thing and have not gone out to take a look at mine.

I have been wanting some form of scanner, but this is the best of both worlds, for less money than what I was looking at and far more practicle.
