OK,
Not on my merc, but on my truck. Trans has been having issues for a while, and I don't know which forums on-line are as good as this one but geared towards chevy trucks...
Basically until the vehicle warms up there is no gear engagement at all on the transmission, once warmed up it flares like mad, in no case does revers ever fully engage (you can rev the engine and get some backwards movement).
Thoughts on where to start? Fluid is red (no burnt smell) but horribly overfilled.
I'm going to drain it and start by adding a bit of trans-x (what could it hurt at this point
).
Anyway, any forums geared like this one out there for chevys?
