That's horrible. I hadn't heard of that before. Maybe they could turn it into a land mass. I saw a program where a guy made a personal island using old plastic bottles and nets.

I saw this link in the article you posted and thought it was very cool. It's confusing/upsetting that great ideas like this don't become mainstream.
