Whether the candidates are being asked directly or not is not my point. The sexism comes from the fact that there seem to be different expectations of a female running for POTUS or any other position for that matter, than of a male.
How many times do you hear someone critiquing what a male is wearing? What purpose is there for asking if we wan to see a woman 'age' in the WH? Has that question been asked of W, or Clinton? How about any other POTUS candidate? What does that have to do with her ability to lead?
While he did not ask it with the intent of disqualifying her, he did ask it with the intent of swaying peoples opinions. IMO, it is sexist to bring up her age with out bringing up Obama's, McCains, Huckabee, W, Cheney, Reagan and any other ale who has run for office. he fact that it was not an issue with the males indicates to e that the statement is sexist.
