As said, usually just removing the brain from the connector will be enough to disable it entirely. Just tuck away the remaining wiring, but DON'T cut anything!!!

My wife had a Jaguar with an aftermarket (also Viper) alarm that was the culprit of frequent drained battery issues. Disconnecting the brain was all that was needed to remove the problem permanently.
