Go to the nearest MB dealer and request an VMI on your Vin Number. Take the registration with you to prove ownership. The Parts person should be able to do this for you. Parts guy at Valencia MB in Valencia CA did it for me on a 24 year old car. Mine was clean, no recalls and NO warranty work. Parts guy told me I had a good one. He also verified the mileage for my first High Mileage award.
