OM603 Injector Question
I recently installed new injectors, heat shields, and braided return lines on my 87 300SDL. A very easy job indeed. I ran into an issue that I have to question...
The old injectors (originals) were all exactly inline with each other, with the fuel return fittings pointing from firewall to radiator. With the new injectors, #'s 1-4 are lined up this way,
but #5 and #6 are turned exactly 90 degrees, with the fuel return fittings running left to right. It does not appear to be a problem and everything is operating as it should. I just want to be certain this is okay. I've even removed and reinstalled the injectors a few times, but once torqued, they always are seated differently than the others.
