i found out for myself yesterday, as you said, the Euro E 500 did indeed come with SL 600(129) brakes on all four corners, i checked it on the EPC at the dealership.

what is your best 0-60 and 1/4 mile at what speed, with the GTECH?
i have heard alot of different things about that GTECH, some say its very accurate, some say its all BS? but i have read up on the concept behind it, and i makes perfect sense to me. I believe it is accurate within probably 2 or 3 tenths of a second. What are your thoughts on this item?

my E 500 arrives this week!!!! Confirmed via email!
i am sooo excited!!!! to finally get/experience this car! i have never actually seen a 500E/E 500 in 'person' before, so this will be very special for me! not to mention, this is my very first car!

my mother has a 1995 S 500(140), same M119 engine, and its all around performance is of course very impressive, but i imagine this E 500 will be quite a different drive!?
