If anyone really wants to know how to do this a manual is a good place to start so you might have a better understanding of what is required. I don't believe in short cuts I beleive in doing it right the first time and that takes some special tools and mechanical experience and knowledge. but thats my opinion. As post #8 suggested could the parts be marked with a scribe of something and if this was done would there be a resonable chance that he could save his origional alignment? (I am asking this as my car is an 84 and some day I will be faceing a similar problem.)
