OK, this goes back a bit in time.

Do any of you remember ( or read) how a copper head gasket should be installed? Is there a tac, or coating of some kind that sould be applied--or do they go on dry?
This is on a 1952 Dodge flathead six.
IIFC head bolts, and washers should be oiled for torquing.
