Did the previous owner install lowering springs? If so, you'll have to buy a camber kit somewhere, or put it back to stock to cure the issue.

If the spheres are shot, you'll get a hard ride and a loud bang every time you go over a bump.

Check to see if the adjusting lever is still attached as one piece to the leveling valve. Jack up the car, and put two jack stands under there. You'll find teh valve and the arm if you look. You'll also see the spheres and the oil charged SLS shocks.
