Ryan- Yes you have to force the headliner a little bit, it will pop down out of its normal position, and then it is fairly flexible so you should be able to bend it slightly just enough to get it to fit through its cutoutin the roof. Then i can walk you through the next few steps so you can isolate the problem. Any of the problems are fairly simple to repair and should be good for you because even though you are new at repairing a 190 it should help you to become more familiar and comfortable when working on the car.
