Hi -

I have an '86 300E, and recently the hood has been popping on its own. I can't figure out why it's doing it, either.

It seems to release at freeway speeds and above mostly. The safety is still catching it, but holy cow.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do you have any suggestions for places to look?
