Just got my 300TD back from my mechanic, the car was driven away while running in my driveway, located without the key in it,cylinder and steering frozen, My cost was $200.00 to have it drilled out (guess it is like drilling a safe) new tumbler installed, I jhear the real cost for all of this is $400.00,dont knoe if this answers your question, dealer qouted me $300.00 to install new tumbler without all of my issues.
