for disassembly will i need to follow the following? the need to remove the headliner of my entire interior would be very unfortunate.

1. Remove the four corner interior pieces and 2 interior pieces between both doors.
2. Remove the rear view mirror, notice mirror is mounted using spring tension, so there is no screws. To reinstall the mirror, sweez the ends of the pins with plier and the tiny pin will hold one side of larg pin back. Then place the mirror back where it belongs and push up with end of screw driver or something similiar.
3. Remove all surrounding pieces around the rear view mirror and sun visors.
4. Remove the 2 back seat ceiling mirrors, they pop into place so you'll have to carefully pry it out. Then there is a screw inside that holds the headliner up, remove that.
5.Open the sunroof about half way and remove the silver strip at front of opening, then remove the front ceiling piece. Take notice which side of the silver strip is front so you can reinstall later.
6. Now the way to remove the headliner is to pry it out from the back windshield, once you've got the back out, the whole thing should be push to the front and it come off the sunroof opening. I was not able to take the headliner out of the car, so I laid the front seat down and left it in the car.
7. You should see the sunroof pan and the bolts that holds in onto the roof. Close the sunroof, you have to plug the switch back by the rear view mirror.
8. Remove all the bolts including the one holding the cable which opens and close the sunroof. But don't remove the cabel. You'll need some help or something to hold the pan up.
9. Once the pan is loose, remove the 4 rubber hoses which carry the water out of the pan.
10. Once the pan is lowered, you'll see the tar link padding on your roof. Scrap it off with a plastic scrapper, a little heat will make it soft, too much will mess up your paint.
11. Be careful not to damage the foam surrounding the pan, if you damage it, water may escape onto the headliner when vehicle is moving.
12. Make sure to remove all that tar crap and wipe the roof with some paint thinner to clean all the glue. Make sure you place some newspaper in the pan so all that crap will fall on the newspaper.
13. If the sunroof shade that slides back is damaged and some of the fabric is torne, you can glue it back. I got some Locktight glue from Walmart, it's heat resistant and very good. I even glued the rest of the vinyle interior that had falling of. You may have to cut some fabric strip about 1.5 inches wide and 1 foot long to glue on top of the existing fabric on the shade to help hold it down. Of course all of this glueing is done on the top side of the shade so it can't be seen from inside the care when done.
14. After everything has dried, over night, put everything back and clean any dirty spots with water and soap rag.
