If you search for threads written by me "Icefire" I have done 3 swaps, 1983 300 SD into 85 500 SEL, 1983 SD into 1982 380 SEL and 1985 300 SD into a 1984 500 SEC, If your a good mechanic and have both cars next to each other its not hard, just time consuming. I can do it in about 24 hours with an assistant.
