Yes, there are two pumps and they are in series. The fuel flows by gravity to the lower pump and then under pressure to the next pump. You will see the pipe going from one back around to the other. From there it goes to the filter and on to the pipes to the CIS-E unit on the engine. There is also an accumulator included in the package mounted on the front top of the bracket. Each pump has a check valve at the pressure end and I replaced both of them. There are also copper crush washers.

On mine, one wire was broken so inspect these carefully. The hoses are wrapped around the pieces fairly tightly so watch the routing. The bracket is probably rusty so a good cleaning might be in order.

There is supposed to be a certain amount of fuel delivered in a specific time and I don't know that figure off hand. The amount is meadured at the delivery pipe to the CIS unit.
