Just my .2 cents here but my aunt has a 94 mercedes and its really nice had it for 2 years now and only problem she had was an O2 sensor, uncle has a 93 sport mercedes had a valve cover leak and needed brakes (expensive cause its a sport model and all) and an AC compressor replacement (that was way pricey) but i have not seen too many serious problems with them...but for my money i would buy a nice 80 something 300 series and restore it....but like i said my .2 cents worth
