I have read posts here that say lithium grease is a great lubricant for the throttle linkage.
Is this true? I understand that dirt may get collected, but won't the ATF and other liquids need to be replenished shortly after the adjustment?
Just curious, as lubricating the throttle linkage in my '81 300TD is one of the things I plan to do this weekend. (I *was* planning on using lithium grease...)
